How to Use Humane Rodent Traps

Place it nearby your suspected area of rodent hiding place. Then place inside your chosen bait - we recommend our magic crumbs that are also humane and poison-free rodent attracting bait ( 1 portion per trap )

Carefully take the trap with the rodent to the destination of where you want to release it. We recommend 1 - 2 miles from the property. Place the trap on the ground with the gates away from you and open it and slowly move away from the cage till the rodent leaves the cage and is no longer in sight. Collect the cage.

Important Usage Tips

Use attractant bait to make the process more quicker and successful.

When the rodent is trapped - use protection gloves and safely handle and secure the trap avoiding any trap shaking. 

Release the rodent as minimum as 1 - 2 miles from the property. 

Do not try to take the rodent out with hands or try to purposefully touch it. Gloves are meant to provide extra level of safety, if the rodent is being overly aggressive. 
Aftercare

If cage requires cleaning - try to avoid strong chemical detergents. This will make the rodent highly avoid it the next time.

Do not touch the rodent when it is trapped inside the cage.
Do not take the rodent out with your hands ( even with the gloves on )

How many traps I need?

Technically as low as one, but we HIGHLY recommend to have 2 to be used at the same time.

How long I need to wait?

It's hard to answer this because it depends on various factors. It can take from few hours to several days.

Are humane traps better?

In our opinion they are! 1. They can be re-used many time without cleaning. 2. They do not harm the rodent. 3. You won't have to deal with dead rodent corpse.

Where should I release the rodent?

Anywhere in the wild ( park, forest, field ) - far away from your home ( we recommend at least 1 - 2 miles )
Can I use metal trap for mice?

Absolutely, while they are designed for larger rodents such as rats - they also work well with mice. From our previous feedbacks - people say plastic ones work better with mice.
